A Different Colored USB Drive for Every Occasion

I’m always looking for a way to transfer files from one site to another. Sometimes it’s absolutely impossible to email the file because the computer may not be connected to the web. Carrying floppy discs are for days gone by. The new hip way of transferring such important files is on a flash drive. I spend lots of time and effort on various projects from home, school, church, husband’s business and my own jobs (and yes, they are plural!). Not only are the transfers short in distance but can be many miles. I’ve taken my files to other states and reworked them.

Portability is key, however, portability with style is classic. Such are the numbers of files and the situations exclusive that individuality for each flash drive is important. Since I homeschool my children, both of which are girls, I love having a pink drive. I make a file for the whole year that contains their homework assignments. I make test files and answer keys. All of which must be ported from one location to another with ease. I love that fact that my customized flash drive has our homeschool logo on it. Easy to spot and easy to use.

Then there’s the blue drive. It’s for the church. I create announcement and sermon files and transport them from home to church and back. I received it from the church on its anniversary. They had ordered a large quantity of customized flash drives and gave them out to all the members. It was a big hit that year. Much better than the sports bottles and the insulated cups they’re giving out this year.

Then there’s the black flash drive. It’s for my husband’s business. He details cars and trucks. We ordered a bunch of promotional flash drives as a means of advertisement. It contains the business name, logo and phone number. It’s great and our customers love them. I use mine to store business invoices on. Sometimes I’ll take the files to work with me and enter in new invoices. Then I transport the invoice files homes on my flash drive and print them off on the printer.

Then I have my green flash drive. It’s for my jobs. My most favorite job is the 911 operator/dispatcher for the sheriff’s office. Since green is my favorite color and green is the primary color of our sheriff’s office, it’s only logical that it’s my work flash drive. It’s one of those bulk USB flash drives that has the sheriff’s star on one side with the logo, and on the other side it has in big bold lettering and numbers “911 – government sponsored Dial-A-Prayer line” I use this one for my drywall job, my cleaning job, my painting job, my wallpaper removal job and any other job I may have to have files for. I’m a busy person and I need my files to be accessible and identifiable. I love colored imprinted flash drives. It makes files recognizable at a glance.
